About Josh Doubleday

Josh Doubleday began sculpting in secondary school while growing up in Ontario, Canada. From there, he studied Fine Arts at York University, in Toronto, Canada.  Josh moved to Vancouver when he was 25 and was immediately inspired by the native artists living in the community who specialized in stone sculpture. Almost 15 years later, and after having lived in China, Thailand, and currently in the United Arab Emirates, his art continues to grow and develop in fascinating ways. Taking inspiration from his travels and experiences, Josh continues to explore and search for meaning in art and the cultures that surrounds him.
